Badly red with a ridiculously affected melodramatic accent that makes it imposable to listen to. I have enjoyed hard copies of Flashman before but this was awful. Such a shame.
A dreary story indifferently read and badly translated ? No one in 1918 would have said ?When it comes to tail: go figure!?
Anna Fields has an awful speaking voice and reads in a flat monotone. Maybe the book is exciting and well written - I shall never know; I didn?t get through 10% of it. Don?t bother buying it unless you are masochistic! Can I give it no stars?
