The historic hotel in BoonsBoro, Maryland, has endured war and peace, changing hands, even rumored hauntings. Now it’s getting a major facelift from the Montgomery brothers and their eccentric mother. As the architect of the family, Beckett’s social life consists mostly of talking shop over pizza and beer. But there’s another project he’s got his eye on: the girl he’s been waiting to kiss since he was 15....

The story was wonderful. I went to the store and actually bought the book for a really good read. Only got a chapter into the audible version, and could NOT get passed the narration. Please no more MacLeod Andrews!

Some feelings you just can't fight. He is known as the Warrior Captain - a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on - until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow: Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.

I love this series by Jacquelyn Frank! She brings to life the species that we all know, and gives them a new twist. She keeps some of the old myths, but definitely puts her own flair on them. I love the characters. Xe Sands does a great job of bringing all the characters their own unique voice. I love Jacob and Gideon, but Elijah stole my heart. This is an excellent series that I would recommend for anyone.

What he doesn't know is that Jewel is a woman, not a stone! But once he meets this precious gem, destroying her is the last thing on his mind....

I was skeptical about this series. This is the first in the Atlantis series that I have tried. It was a little slow in the beginning, but once you got caught up in the characters, it was a good listen. The narrator did the voices well, but some of her other inflections were a little harder to listen to. Overall, I think it was worth the credit.

I loved the other two books, and the narrator. Unfortunately the change in narrator almost killed this audiobook for me. She did not have the inflections that we are so used to with the characters we love. Ky's voice was normal!, and had difficulty knowing who was talking. Other than that, the story was AWESOME!!! I love Than. The book is definitely worth reading or listening too, just be aware the narration might take away from the awesomeness of story.

I love this series, and have listened to the last three. I got to Chapter 3 on this book and couldn't get past the narrator. The story I am sure will be amazing, her books always are. But, I think I will pass on the audio and read it.
