"Sourcery (Unabridged)"
Certainly one of Terry Pratchett's best novels. I laughted all thru the listening (the narrator helped a lot here). It does not depend on a detailed knowledge of Pratchett's characters to enjoy. Some of his other books are best enjoyed once you are familiar with them.
"First Class"
It is difficult to find a book that compaes to this.It could be compared to a pseudo history like Tyrant by Manfredi. There is enough history to be interesting but enough fiction to allow characters to be well developed.
"A good read"
I don't find audio better or worse than print - just different. I grew up listening to radio plays and that is what I compare an audio book to.
This is not a true thriller it is an interesting tale from various peoples view point.
Kramer's characters are easy to identify and seem to match the verbal images well.
"Novel Story"
The main character gives this book a slight edge on normal detective novels.
The conversations from the dog's view point add a lot to the story telling
Yes
"A great read (listen)"
One of my favourite scifi books; but it is perhaps better describes as an historical novel.
yes
"Not as good as here others"
A cute story with a great ending but not as good as the Doomsday Book
"Light hearted"
The is a light hearted romance story with a bit of a twist. Easy listening
"A great read"
A clever little crime thriller - well worth the read
"Interesting if long"
If you you know little about WWII history this covers a lot of the cryptograhy from the period. The background to the fictional characters is mostly correct. The book has a lot of humour mixed with grim reality. I enjoyed it as a listen but felt it is perhaps a little too long.
It is not Stephenson's best book
"Not my sort of book"
Too little action for a fanasty novel imho
"Well worth the money"
Even though this is only snipits of stories it is well worth listening to
