This story makes you more aware of the dangers we unwittingly face with corporations that do pretty much whatever they like. I only hope we have a chance. Neal Stephenson has delivered again.
I was a bit cautious after reading the poor reviews but I thought to myself it seemed very unlikely Lois could write a ho hum book. I really enjoyed it and had no problems with the narration. The Hallowed Hunt contains all the twists and turns I expect from this wonderful story teller.
This is an enjoyable series, well written and narrated. Initially I was wary of the modelling on Patrick O'Briens series but I have absolutely no complaints and I am happily working my way through all David Drake's stories. It's a delight to find a great storyteller.
Nelson DeMille and Scott Brick make a good team. Even though the story is essentially scary the humour and understanding of the un-P.C John Corey hits the spot. We can hope for book 7.
I used to think authors just put zombies into the story because they couldn't think of anything else to do. I had to rethink that one. I loved the humour and imagination of this series so much that I recommended it to my mother (she just had her 70th birthday). We didn't know there is such a monster problem and we are now watching some of our neighbours closely. Lots of furious fun.
Barking has been a favourite of mine for many years and I was delighted to find it on Audible. Tom Holt has a unique brand of storytelling. Loved the narration.
A classic tale of male dominance, corruption and love. An enjoyable and timeless story relevant today. Well crafted and narrated.
Found this book a bit too gruesome for myself. The underlying story is quite interesting for the more hardened listeners.
We really enjoyed the narration and the added extras of the dramatisation. What a great idea. More please.
