  • It's Never Crowded Along the Extra Mile: 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace

    • ORIGINAL (9 hrs and 15 mins)
    • By Wayne W. Dyer
    • Narrated By Wayne W. Dyer

This lecture features Dr. Wayne W. Dyer as he shares what it's like to go the extra mile and lead a deeper, fuller life. Drawing upon the lessons of great teachers such as St. Francis of Assisi, Viktor Frankl, Jesus Christ, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and Buddha, Dr. Dyer helps you discover that you can achieve true inner peace and success by integrating ten powerful "secrets" into your life that can transform your everyday existence into a path for spiritual enlightenment.

    Adam says: "Life transforming"
    "My own issues"

I related to this book and found the concepts of self-awareness and concsiousness to be well discussed. Having been raised by parents with similar values, this was nothing I haven't been exposed to around a bonfire or on a long canoe ride. For someone starting their spiritual journey this is an excellent book to listen to. The only thing that really irritated me is heavy breathing into the microphone all the time, but that is one of my own issues.

  • The Cheating Culture: Why More Americans Are Doing Wrong to Get Ahead

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 46 mins)
    • By David Callahan
    • Narrated By Richard M. Davidson
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

What would you do if your bank machine couldn't keep track of your account information? Callahan thinks most people would overdraw their accounts, like the 4,000 people who helped themselves to 15 million dollars from the Municipal Credit Union of New York following the September 11 terrorist attacks. America has become a nation of cheaters. Now more than ever, people are bending rules and breaking laws to get what they want.

    Traveler says: "Thinking Required"
    "critical analysis"

Not a mainstream read. This book was very good.

  • The Energy of Money

    • Abridged/Unabridged (9 hrs)
    • By Maria Nemeth
    • Narrated By Maria Nemeth

Release the "congealed" energy of money and focus it on your most cherished goals and dreams. Dr. Maria Nemeth takes you beyond the mere logistics of budgeting and investing to explore the beliefs, patterns, and habits which are the underpinnings of your relationship with money.

James says: "Your life as a hologram"
    "interesting so far"

I have learned alot already about my relationship with money. Unfortunately she keeps asking you to sit down and write and refers to a workbook that you need. I would rather be taken on a guided meditation about the things that need to be written rather than stop my work or whatever to go find paper. However I must say, I am enjoying the relational cognitive modificaiton/awareness techniques that she presents. Recording a bit fuzzy.

In fact, she is not really a girl at all.

Christopher Allen walker says: "Great Pulitzer Winning novel!"

If you like accents listen to this. If you want more philosophical underpinnings don't.
