"Second best book series in print"
I loved the Underland chronicles, second best book series in print today, second only to Harry Potter of coarse. Well written, easy to understand and follow along, with no boring spots to interupt your enjoyment. Suzanne Collins is an excellent author and her Underland Chronicles is much better than her Hunger Games series. There are 5 books in the series and they all flow together like water in a river, and each book can stand by itself without the others if need be. The cast of caractors in this story is wonderfully well written, you fill emotionally attached to them by the time the series ends. So please follow Gregor and his two year old sister Boots along on a great and heart felt journey.
"One Shot - Great Story!"
I first heard of Jack Reacher through the new Jack Reacher movie preview. That preview with Tom Cruise looked awsome so I went and checked out the Book. After reading the first 20 pages for free on Amazon.com I went and bought it on Audible.com and I loved it. It is full of crime scene deductions that really drive a story. It stays interesting all through out the book. It made me go back to Audible.com and buy "The killing Floor" (Another great story). In my job I work many hours alone and having a great story to listen to while I work is awsome. I highly recomend this Book to anyone interested in Mystery, action and adventure.
"Excellent Sci-Fi"
I'm not one to read or Listen to many Sci-Fi stories, but the "Second Ship" story interested me. It's full of the mysteries that I love. The action that keeps me interested, and the Clift hanging that wanted me to buy "Immune" the second book in the series.
This story is about Alien technology, teenage kids, evil Government scientest and everything in between. I'm in the middle of "Immune" and find that book a little long on detail but just as good. The story surrounds the finding of one Alien ship by the U.S. Government and the Evil Dr. Stephenson, and another Alien ship found by three teenagers who were just out having some fun. Dr. Stephenson has many hidden agendas and the three teenagers are working in secret to try to stop him, but the harder they try the more difficult that task becomes. Makes me want to buy the third book "Worm-hole" and see how everything turns out.
"Heat needs more heat."
I love the TV show, the chemistry between all the actors is perfect. The book however missed out on that chemestry. The story took to long, I was getting impatent with the progress, there was no ergancy to the story at all until the end but by then I lost enterest in the story. Sorry but its not as good as the TV show.
"OLD STORY, BUT STILL ENTERTAINING"
This book told a story I've either read before, watched on TV before or seen on a movie screen. Having said that I still loved this book because of the suspence. I couldn't wait to read what happens next and those are the books I really get into. The book's main carractors are very different people investigaing UFOs & Aliens and they end up in the end saving our planet. You have the Goverment investigator (Presidential Science Advisor), A journalist (Looking for her missing friend), An old man from WWII with many secrets to tell and a Military man who just happens to work in Area 51. They all start out in the story not knowing each other but by the end they trust no one but each other. Best of all, when the book ends you can't wait to buy the second book in the series "Area 51 The Reply" to find out what will happen next and that is how you sell a story. If you are into UFO & Alien stories then this is a good story to read, but if you are looking for realizum don't waste your time, remember this is just a story to read and enjoy, it is not based on real events - I hope.
