Susie Bright, founder of Best American Erotica, presents a classic, taboo-breaking collection of men’s erotic fiction - featuring the most unrepentant gay literary heroes of our generation. Legendary writers like John Preston, Samuel Delany, Steven Saylor/Aaron Travis, Lars Eighner, Dennis Cooper - who can imagine men’s intimate and transgressive lives without them?

Stereotypes that went beyond offensive. Gay erotica as violent, shock value type tales with ridiculous situations. For example, a guy who contracts a virus that starts to turn him straight (in the stupidest stereotypy way) who then tries to force his ex lover while very drunk in order to make him catch the virus too. All to be saved by the best queen friend, jumping in at the last moment.

    Don't waste your credits.

The Colour of Magic, the first novel in Terry Pratchett's wildly imaginative Discworld series, takes the listener on a remarkable journey. The magical planet of Discworld is supported by four massive elephants who stand on the back of the Great A'Tuin, a giant turtle swimming slowly through the mysterious interstellar gulf. An eccentric expedition sets out to explore the planet, encountering dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and of course "The Edge" of the planet.

A few friends have suggested the Discworld books to me, so I'm looking forward to reading them. Unfortunately, the narrator, Nigel Planer, is awful. It might be that the recording itself is poor quality, or maybe a little of both, but it makes the audio book impossible to listen to. I'm disappointed that I won't be getting to hear Discworld, and I am surprised, because I've never come across a narrator who I didn't adjust to over the first few chapters. I gave the story three stars because I don't want to judge it unfairly until I've finished it.
