"Fantasy at its truist"
I enjoyed this book! The reading of it makes the characters stand out and be noticed. A classic epic fantasy that follows the same footsteps as Eddings, Butcher, and Brooks. The audio makes it stand out from the crowd.
"Good Read"
The Inheritance Cycle is good fantasy. Eragon was by far the best book of the series. The rest get long and labored, but have great plot and a depth of a world that makes good epic fantasy.
"Great Youth Read"
John Flannagan puts together a wonderful world of adventure with characters you care about and challenges that require unique strengths. Similar to Harry Potter only in that you get to watch the heros and heroines grow from children into adults to be proud of. I reccommend it for anyone.
"Epic Fantasy Done Right!"
I love Jim Butcher. His Furies series is one of the best in epic fantasy. The characters are engaging, the plot twisty, and the problems unique. You have got to read Tavi's story.
"Drags A Bit"
This series took me to book two, but it wasn't worth the investment. This tame world of vampires and manipulation isn't really worth it in the end.
"Love the Hathaways!"
You can count on Lisa Kleypas to divert from the norm. I love this quirky family, its troubles and triumphs, and how each of them finds love in very unlikely places.
"Wonderful! Unique!"
Having read about Gods and the supernatural in many forms, Neil Gaiman gives it a whole new twist. This book is the best! A must read.
"A Must Listen!"
These funny yet suspenseful books make new inroads to the vampire legend. With Bones as the main character, listening is mandatory. I have tried them both ways and the narration makes the series even better!
"The Best of Fantasy"
You cannot go wrong with Brandon Sanderson! One of the best modern fantasy writers. I love his work. This is a great read
"Don't give up on Dresden!"
As a die-hard fan, I was unsure about this one, I loved it. The book made me listen compulsively until it was done, then I wanted more. Don't start your Dresden Files here.... go back a few books, first.
"Mercy kicks butt again!"
My favorite of Brggs' work, this series is great. With a steely heroine and the best of the storyline. I love the narration and the stories Briggs creates.
