Across the worlds of Shadow, Corwin, Prince of blood royal, heir to the throne of Amber, gathers his forces for an assault that will yield up to him the crown that is rightfully his. But, a growing darkness of his own doing threatens Corwin's plans, an evil that stretches to the heart of the perfect kingdom itself where the demonic forces of Chaos mass to annihilate Amber and all who would rule there.

What made the experience of listening to The Guns of Avalon the most enjoyable?

    Love the story

    Any additional comments?

The voices were not very good, Random's was too whiny and giving Benedict and Dara a southern accent was a bit distracting and I believe in Nine Princes in Amber he had Gerard with a Scottish accent and it was gone in this book.

And there are also several dark spirits roaming the Chicago shadows who owe Harry some payback of their own. To save his friends - and his own soul - Harry will have to pull off the ultimate trick without any magic....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    very good story

What did you like best about this story?

HIs explanations of how things worked for a ghost.

What aspect of John Glover’s performance would you have changed?

Have James Marsters read instead, not that John Glover did a bad job but Marsters did all of the other books and it felt not quite right without him,

    Any additional comments?

I really like it when a series of books uses the same performer for the whole series to swap out on one book makes it feel off.
