One of the greatest mystery thrillers ever written, Wilkie Collins's The Woman in White was a phenomenal best seller in the 1860s, achieving even greater success than works by Charles Dickens. Full of surprise, intrigue, and suspense, this vastly entertaining novel continues to enthrall audiences today.

Druid Atticus O’Sullivan hasn’t stayed alive for more than two millennia without a fair bit of Celtic cunning. So when vengeful thunder gods come Norse by Southwest looking for payback, Atticus, with a little help from the Navajo trickster god Coyote, lets them think that they’ve chopped up his body in the Arizona desert. But the mischievous Coyote is not above a little sleight of paw, and Atticus soon finds that he’s been duped into battling bloodthirsty desert shape-shifters called skinwalkers.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Mote in God's Eye to be better than the print version?

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Disappointed. It seemed to fall flat.

What does L J Ganser bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He did a fabulous job differentiating between the aliens and the humans.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No. Too long.

I thought it was a good story, but all the reviews I had read made it sound like it was the best first alien encounter ever. I did not agree.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.

The sexual tension between Stephani and Moreli. All the characters that make up Stephanies' family.

When Stephanie finds a cat in Rex's cage. Thank goodness for the soupcan!

What does C. J. Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

After centuries, Viking vampire Leif Helgarson is ready to get his vengeance, and he’s asked his friend Atticus O’Sullivan, the last of the Druids, to help take down this Norse nightmare. One survival strategy has worked for Atticus for more than two thousand years: stay away from the guy with the lightning bolts. What made the experience of listening to Hammered the most enjoyable?

So many things.... the male bonding of the characters-figuratively and literally. Oberons comic relief and antics. I wish Atticus was a friend of mine-love him!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hammered?

I can't get the giant squirell out of my head. I loved how Atticus got his right ear back.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well, for one- he is very good at pronouncing words that I think I would have difficulty saying. He brings each character to life with the accents, that I probably would not hear in my head if I just read them. I love how he gives voice to Oberon and the squirel.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The characters are well developed. The story line was fast paced and kept me interested. The readers performance is spot on. I am a huge fan already!

What did you like best about this story?

The details are incredible. I was impressed by the authours knowledge and use of so many types of magical creatures. Also tying in current sci-fi with the ancient mythology is genious.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

I loved it so much I have purchased books ,by unknown authors to me, just so I can listen to him. I can't imagine him just sitting still in a booth reading the words. I see him jumping around and physically acting out each character. I especially love how he brings Oberon to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES!!!!!!

    Any additional comments?

Listen to all of this authors books. I emailed him, letting him know I enjoyed his books and shared a cute story with him that came about from describing his book to my granddaughter. He emailed me back the next day. I didn't really expect a reply. Very impressed.
