"Love her voice, but expected more insight"
Is there anything you would change about this book?The depth of her stories. I wanted to get to know her better. I bought this book because as a person I find her so appealing. But the book left me wanting more. I felt like listening to Ellen's wonderful voice but a scrpt from Seinfield.
Has Seriously...I'm Kidding turned you off from other books in this genre?I heard Tina Fey Bossy Pants before and expected a similar experience. The book left me dissapointed. I am now listening to other genre, but it is partly before, aside from Tina and Ellen, none of the other female comediants of my generation appeal me as much as these two. I would listen to another book by Ellen, hopefully deeper and just as funny.
What about Ellen DeGeneres’s performance did you like?She has a unique voice. Just listening to her voice made me smile.
Do you think Seriously...I'm Kidding needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?YES. But not to follow-up, but to show the real potential of Ellen as a writter. It left me feeling like this was not the best she could do.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bossypants to be better than the print version?Yes. Her voice is priceless
What did you like best about this story?Her behind the scene at her impersonation of Sarah Palin
What does Tina Fey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?Her humor. Her sense of intimacy. It feels at if you ar having a drink with her and she is telling you her personal experiences.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?Her being thorn at the image of the ideal mother while still loving her career. Any working mother that loves her career has been there.
Any additional comments?She refers to images of the book and invites you to look at them at your electronic version, but I could not do that...It feels like as a listener you are missing part of the story by not being able to check on those images. PLEASE FIX THAT. Still, it was amazing.

If you could sum up The Help in three words, what would they be?Female power within
What other book might you compare The Help to and why?Can't think of any right now. A Civil Rights one comes to mind, but the angle of complicity and clash between female charachters is unique.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?Minie.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?The previous to last chapter, when Abileen is saying goodbye. I was crying with her.
Any additional comments?Excpetional voices added to the gripping story in a way that made the book inmensily enjoyable.
