For much of her life, Anne Morrow, the shy daughter of the U.S. ambassador to Mexico, has stood in the shadows of those around her, including her millionaire father and vibrant older sister, who often steals the spotlight. Then Anne, a college senior with hidden literary aspirations, travels to Mexico City to spend Christmas with her family. There she meets Colonel Charles Lindbergh, fresh off his celebrated 1927 solo flight across the Atlantic. Enthralled by Charles’s assurance and fame, Anne is certain the celebrated aviator has scarcely noticed her. But she is wrong.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Would you try another book from E. L. James and/or Becca Battoe?

The only thing I knew about this book before I bought it was that it was a best seller. I will know the next time to do more research. Pure Pornography!!! If that is what you enjoy reading then go for it. I REALLY, REALLY DO NOT LIKE THIS BOOK. AWFUL!!!

Would you ever listen to anything by E. L. James again?

    NO!!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    ANGER, DISAPPOINTMENT AND DISGUST.

From his grandmother, Alex Cross has heard the story of his great uncle Abraham and his struggles for survival in the era of the Ku Klux Klan. Now, Alex passes the family tale along to his own children in a novel he's written - a novel called Trial.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This is not an Alex Cross character book!!!! The narration was horrible and hard to listen too.

If you’ve listened to books by James Patterson and Richard DiLallo before, how does this one compare?

Compared to his other books and especially the Alex Cross character books, this one is the worse.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I like nothing and disliked everything.

Do you think Alex Cross's TRIAL needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    NO!!! Please don't!!! Horrible

    Any additional comments?

Mr. Patterson, please write your books yourself!!!!
