"Just ok for me"
The book was very well narrated and written. It was just a bit boring.
For the person not up on tech, the content may be more revelatory but for a blog follower on all things tech it was a bit underwhelming.
I also think the author was too close to google to give an objective report. More a collation of news that we, for the most part, know.
Alas, it passed the time during a few commutes. 2.5 stars - bland.
"Great listen - best in a LONG time"
Excellent book and narrator was on another level. Almost better than Frank Muller!
We need more quality prose.
"boring"
I honestly don't know how some of this stuff makes it to "print". Took about 7 hours to get to any action - terrible book. Narrator was not great either.
Started Listening to "Rain Gods" right after and the difference in the quality was amazing. Get that book right away.
"Great book"
Really enjoyed this one - narration by the author was great.
"Don't waste your time..."
I decided to download this book to help me through the monotony of a long overdue outdoor painting project. As it happened watching the paint dry was actually more interesting.
To say that the story-line was a little far fetched would be an understatement. Let's just say the entire plot hinges on 2 white horses and an ex-cia horsewhispering woman who must tame the killer ponies, under duress, for a bad guy who wants the horses to lead him to some "treasure" buried somewhere in the desert.
It's very poorly written and narrated and I would not recommend this book.
