"Too Predictable"
I first heard of the author in a Clancy novel where I was having problems with the believability of the character as it was not "Clancyesque" Now I see where this came from. The overriding theme of this book-How can a character portrayed as so brilliant and tactically sound be so stupid and at the same same time commit so many amateurish tactical mistakes and survive? A strong character is just that strong- not a wimp, not a wuss. If they are so brilliant then write them as such. Assassins do not typically have the inner turmoil the paralyzes them and survive the night. Sorry dude, be a better writer...
