Amazing as usual, another great installment of the Argeaneu Series. My favorites are still Lucian's and Marguerite's stories, but Ander's story was just as good!!!
I didnt give this book 5 stars because it was just too sad for me. I listen to audiobooks to get away for a while from the real world and this story just was too sad. The characters are deep and the story IS good, but break out the tissues because you WILL cry.
This story had the potential to be amazing. I love time travel books and always look for them, so I was so excited when I found this. I just had a hard time getting involved with the heroine. She accepted her situation a little too gracefully for it to be realistic at all! She had no depth to her character and was very annoying. It could have been the narrator, but I wont be listening to the next in the series. I do have to mention that the fairy backround story is a great idea though, I just would have gone a different direction with the story.
I didnt even finish this book. It was just so ridiculous, it had me laughing!!! The hero finds this woman on the side of the road and its instant love, even though he has been an avid bachelor his entire adult life. He knows her for two days and loves her and cannot live without her...yuck. The sex was hott or I would have given it one star.
Lynsay is my fav!!! Hurray for Kirby also, he is a great narrator!!! He has a sexy voice, I wonder what he looks like...mmmm!!!!!!
I am one of those readers that enjoys a little cliffhanger at the end of a book if there is going to be a sequel(s). However, when I bought this book, I did not realize it was going to be a series. The story is great and I love the whole idea, but the ending really threw me off. I went to the authors website to see when the planned sequel was going to be released and there is nothing! She mentions wanting to write book 2 but there are no plans to right now. You have got to be kidding me!! The ending was the worst cliffhanger I have ever read and there is no planned sequel?!?!? No way lady...My advice to all listeners is pass this one by, wait for the "not planned" sequel first because this book has no ending. I would never have listened to it if I knew it ended like this!
This book in the Argeneau Series was my favorite so far! I love Lucian, he seems the sexiest of all of the family and the story had the best ending! Although I do still love A Quick Bite, and I love how Lisianna and Greg are tied into this story!
This is the first book in the series, and I really loved it! There is a prequel to this book and I suggest listening to it first, it is free and only 2 hours. There are also three more books and a novella, which was amazing. I love the authors creativity in the world she created! If you liked Twilight, you will like these too. The fifth book doesnt come out until October, but I hope it wont be the last! Also loved the narrator, although her voice isnt as "beautiful" as Kaylees voice is supposed to sound in the book.
This is the second book in the series and I really enjoyed it! There are a lot of questions that go unanswered, so be prepared! I actually like that because it makes me excited for the next installment, which is supposed to be out in June 2011. Not to spoil it, but I hope she chooses Miles, he seems to be the only one being truthful to Luce!
This is my first download from Audible, and I am glad I picked this book! It was well worth the credit and I have just purchased the second book, Torment. My only regret it that I didnt realize this book was a series when I chose it, and the series is not finished yet! It drives me crazy not knowing what happens next, and to those of you who feel the same, wait until the last book is finished. Only the second book has been released and I have heard the third isnt due out for another six months. I just finished the Twilight series and I had waited until the last of the four books were out, although I read those the old fashioned way! Beware, the author does leave a lot untold, so it makes you want to buy the next book. This was a great story and although I am not religious in any way, I love the stories of angels and this is a great one!
