Once again, David Sedaris brings together a collection of essays so uproariously funny and profoundly moving that his legions of fans will fall for him all over again. He tests the limits of love when Hugh lances a boil from his backside, and pushes the boundaries of laziness when, finding the water shut off in his house in Normandy, he looks to the water in a vase of fresh cut flowers to fill the coffee machine.

David Sedaris' best work yet. Could he be any funnier!? I loved this book so much that I ordered more of his work but this was by far my favorite.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

    "the best!"

one of my top five favorite books ever!

Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

this book lives up to all the hype. I found myself looking forward to my commute so I could tune back in. One on my top three favorite audible books.

Is there really such thing as a lucky charm? The hero of Nicholas Sparks's new novel believes he's found one in the form of a photograph of a smiling woman he's never met, but who he comes to believe holds the key to his destiny. The chain of events that leads to him possessing the photograph and finding the woman pictured in it is the stuff of love stories only a master such as Sparks can write.

    Amber says: "Very enjoyable!!!!"
"skip it and read one of his other novels"
    Overall

I'm a big Nicholas Sparks fan. He wrote some of my favorite books however this one was disappointing. The love story was a stretch and unbelievable. It reads like a lifetime television movie. not impressed. I'd recommend other Nicholas sparks novels but not this one.

A natural storyteller with a bottomless pit of material, Lange grew up in a close-knit, working-class Italian family in Union, New Jersey, as a maniacal Yankees fan who pursued the two things his father said he was cut out for: sports and comedy. Wild, shocking, and drop-dead hilarious, Too Fat to Fish is Artie Lange giving everything he's got to give. And like a true pro, the man never disappoints.

John says: "great book, horrid readers"
"read the book - narrators ruin this comedy"
    Overall

Artie is so funny and I'm a big fan. This audio book starts off strong but Artie leaves in the middle of the recording to enter rehab. He asks his illiterate friends to read the remaining chapters and it ruins the experience so much so that I wish I would have read the book instead of listened.

In this wickedly honest new work, Chelsea Handler casts the net wider with even funnier results, recalling the most noteworthy highs and lows of her life to date - including her efforts to diversify by dating red-haired men, her obsession with midgets, and the dog-sitting interlude in which her boyfriend became overly familiar with a Peekapoo.

In his newest collection of essays, David Sedaris lifts the corner of ordinary life, revealing the absurdity teeming below its surface. His world is alive with obscure desires and hidden motives, a world where forgiveness is automatic and an argument can be the highest form of love. Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim is another unforgettable collection from one of the wittiest and most original writers at work today.

This collection is amusing and I'd recommend it to anyone --but not as funny as "when you're engulfed in flames"

The passion that furtively develops between them - along with Callie's failure to develop physically - leads Callie to suspect that she is not like other girls. In fact, she is not really a girl at all.

Christopher Allen walker says: "Great Pulitzer Winning novel!"
    "narrator was the highlight"

Kristoffer Tabori is an incredible narrator- the highlight of the book. He brings the characters to life. The story is long but worth it in the end.
