I wanted to like this, I like mysteries but I couldn't connect with the characters. The plot was alright, it had a fair amount of suspense but the characters, especially the woman just irritated me more than anything. She was stubborn and wouldn't listen to reason but we were never given enough reason to understand why she would stick to her guns when it didn't make any sense.
The narrator did a good job with what she had to work with.
Good characters in a good world. I've enjoyed most every book in this series and this was no exception.
Cris Dukehart does a fine job of the narration.
Patricia Briggs does it again. Great characters, story and plot. Really great dialogue and I love the interchange between Adam and Mercy. The love shines through.
Lorelei King does a wonderful job as usual.
I really like this book. As usual Bishop has a different tilt on the world, sees it from different perspectives and does a very good job of it.
Her characters are very interesting, and the plot while kept my attention the whole way through.
Hope there are more of these.
but I didn't care for this one near as much as the previous ones. I like this series but this one just didn't work for me.
The narrator did a fine job.
It's good and the narrator does a good job on the voices but it broke my heart a little bit. She kills people I wish she wouldn't.
Fearie is not a nice place.
This was really good and in parts, really heartbreaking. Hard book to read because the victims were so young. You really felt for them and the people they left behind. Well written.
As always Susan Ericksen does a good job.
I love these books and I think that so far this has been the best of them. Really enjoyed this one. Love Kate and the cast of characters that are her friends and family.
Marguerite Gavin does a wonderful job with the narration as always. I wish the next two would hurry up and get done on audio. Sure I could read them but for these it just wouldn't be enough.
This was a bit slow in the first half but first books in a series can do that. The rest of it was good and I like Jack Irish. I had a bit of trouble with the slang but I got the gist of it. I'll read another.
Loved the narrators voice.
This was good. Lots of tension in the last of the book. The trial lagged a bit but not enough to be terrible. Things with Jack's miserable personal are still miserable but I like her and all the secondaries and the plot was good. smart.
This was a good addition to the series. I couldn't bare to stop listening. Jane, Molly, and the whole gang were involved and I loved every minute of it.
Khristine Hvam as always nailed Jane, Beast and the rest of the cast. I look forward to her narrations.
