"It's a testament to Briggs writing that"
It's a testament to Briggs writing that I loved this book as much or more than any of her Mercy books and that I love Anna and Charles just as much or more than Mercy and Adam. What a great book. I enjoyed every minute of it.The story is very good. The narrator did a wonderful job and I'll be looking forward to hearing him again. I bought it when it came out this morning and thankfully didn't have to work today so I pretty much listened to it straight through. The only terrible thing is having to wait until 2014 for the next one.
"Always good"
Singh is by far one of my favorite authors. Both her series are great. I'd read two of the stories in this book previously but that didn't block my enjoyment of getting to listen to them again and getting to listen to two new ones.
Angela Dawe does a wonderful job as always.
"Loved it."
This is good. The story was really exciting and as always really good characters. I always look forward to these books.
Really good narration by Johanna Parker
"Of course it's good!"
I'm sorry they are not going to add to this series for the foreseeable future. I've really enjoyed reading the exploits of the Edgers. As with the others in this series, there are characters that you enjoy with a plot that is well done.
Renee Raudman does her usual great job and makes a good story better.
"Always interesting"
For some reason, maybe it's the whole cat/vamp thing I never think I'm going to like these as much as I do. This has good characters, I can't wait to get to Damian, the plot isn't too tangled but it keeps my interest.
The narrator does a bang up job.
"Loved everything about it"
Perfect story, perfect narrator. It doesn't get any better than that. Kate Locke and Xandra have been added to my A list.
I can't wait for the next one. Please keep the same narrator. She's amazing.
"Not my favorite of hers but...."
Not one of my favorites but still good. The two main characters were hard for me to connect with so that was a problem but I did like the overall plot that involves all The Order. That part was good. I'll still read these as they come out but I didn't think this one was quite as good as the ones before.
Also I think part of it is this felt like a chunk of transition in the world and that can always be a problem.
Good narrator.
"I really enjoyed this book."
I've never before read one of James Rollins books. This is my first and I was not disappointed at all. The story moved a long quickly and the characters were engaging. There was a couple of plot points I could see coming but some times if the trip getting there is good enough it doesn't matter.
I will certainly read any more books that come along in this series.
I also really liked the narrator. I thought he did a very good job and I liked his voice.
"I like this Lords of the darkyn series"
She does a good job with these characters as usual and a good plot to go with it. I've read all the darykin and kyndred books and these last two are some of the best. Familiar characters done well.
Not to mention that Johanna Parker does a very good job narrating the book.
"Not one of my favorites"
It was Kate so I liked it as always but it also didn't end in a way that I liked. It made sense and all the lose ends were tied up but......
Marguerite Gavin did her usual wonderful job narrating.
I do wish these were coming out quicker. The last one was last August and now this one in March. Hope we get another in August.
"Always good and this is no exception"
I always enjoy Mercy but this one was a bit better than the last. I hate to say too much because I don't want to give anything away but it was awfully good.
The narrator did a very nice job.
The worst of it is having to wait another year or two for the next one.
