I really enjoyed Naked Heat! However, it was really hard not to have Nathan Fillian(?)'s face, and (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name), the young female detective, on Castle)'s face. But, that was not a problem. :-) It was pleasurable listening, along with intrique, murder, and mystery. I really liked it. Can't wait for the author to do another.
I am an avid Janet Evanovich fan. I didn't know if I would like these new characters of hers, nor the fact that she was writing a book with someone else. I am happy to say I was worried for nothing. I love, love, love these new books and their characters. I love ongoing characters because I feel as though I know them and the things they've already done/achieved. I have heard them all, and am waiting with baited breath for a new book to come out. Evanovich and Goldberg, you're not writing quick enough, and keep up the great work and storylines.
I just love all the characters involved. How they interact, etc.
Why is everyone always looking for the next great mystery. This book was, interesting, funny, regular day believables, and I really liked Mr. Roker reading it. I hope he does many more of the "Chef" character. Isn't there another book, he has written, with "Chef"?
I really enjoyed all the main/pertinent characters. Definitely different than usual. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the Native American aspect of the novel. I have read/heard all of the books, available to me, and loved them all... JoAnn Brady, J. P. Beaumont, I truly hope J. A. Jance writes more about these characters.
Overall, I enjoy Andy Brazil and his accompanying characters. 'Isle of Dogs', really kept me in question and stitches, though a little confused. But remembering the fact that this is a book, and things being relative and all...
I must say that I liked it. :-) Enough so, that I will listen to it again.
