Powerful and manipulative, Vasilije does as he pleases. A vampire beholden to no one, he takes what he desires, drinking deeply the pleasures this life has to offer. When one of his own is staked, Vasilije must travel to New Orleans to exact his revenge. There he meets Sasa, a beautiful woman who arouses him like no other has for centuries. Vasilije's need for vengeance is equaled only by his passion for her, but what he finds in his revenge is just the beginning....

This story has "good bones" and definite potential as a burgeoning series. The writing was fairly basic...no major frills and added drama..but it was enjoyable, erotic, and funny all the same. The narration added to it for sure, he has a very delicious voice. The one negative in the narration is that he remains somewhat flat...no major inflection and passion...but definitely good enough to make me want to hear more. If you're interested in a quick listen, this is a good book to purchase.

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

I'm not sure what took me so long to purchase and listen to this book! I've seen it popping up as an option for the genre I love, time and time again, with great reviews. Shame on me is all I can say. This book hit all my sweet spots--it was super hot and sexy--like E.R.O.T.I.C., but, romantic, funny, and endearing, with characters that I can't wait to find out more about. This story is a great beginning to a new series that I will surely gorge myself on with a marathon listening session.

Initially, I wasn't sure about the narrator---her voice is kind of like really sugary candy but was well suited for Natalie's sweet and sassy manner. Luke and Natalie have a love affair that made me swoon--and I'm so not a swooner--but there I was, swooning while driving in my car, totally loving these two together. Overall, I'd highly recommend this book for those who want to drown themselves in love, romance and total ear melting eroticism. I loved it!

In the third unforgettable book by New York Times best seller Emma Chase, Matthew Fisher - the best friend of Drew Evans from Tangled and Twisted - wants to settle down, but he’ll have to overcome the mistrust of the colorful and unique Dee Dee Warren.

This was a pleasant surprise! Dee and Matthew weren't even on my radar--they were like, semi-interesting sidekicks in Tangled/Twisted, but, surprisingly, Tamed was really enjoyable! Matthew's no Drew, but he kept my interest peaked; and Dee, well she's in a category all her own--she was hilarious. The story moves pretty quickly, boy meets girl, boy calls girl, boy and girl suddenly are locked at the lips and a couple weeks later...'Audible hopes you've enjoyed your story', basically. If there was a negative, it's that there were moments where I felt like the transitions within conversations or moments within the relationship weren't smooth and/or logical. It IS fiction, so I can cut the author some slack.

Similar to the other stories in the series, this one was told from the man's perspective--which is quickly becoming a favorite vantage point for me; It was a nice change to read/listen to a story where the guy wasn't a total douchebag that has an epiphany, but, is a man that realized early on what he wanted and the result, is a the romantic short - TAMED. This one made me laugh out loud, and fall in love with love. Highly recommended if you enjoyed Tangled.

I was searching desperately for more from this story. I've loved the series so far, but, this one left me thinking Samantha Young is beginning to grasp for storylines. After a few lackluster chapters I realized it wasn't going to get too much better, deeper, or more worthy of my listening time, but I was interested enough to power through it. Cole's a nice lad, and I'm a sucker for a love sick Scot! The plot (or not) was far too loose for the dramatic narration in certain scenes, which was a distraction, and I couldn't tell if she was having a flashback or what was going on.The best part of the story was catching up on some of the best characters EVER---Braden & Joss, Liv & Nate--love! love! love! these two couples and their respective books in the series. I'll take a book about their lives after falling in love any day!

All things considered, one semi-bad apple didn't spoil the bunch; I'd still recommend the series, and if this particular installment was overlooked somehow, that would be just fine!

Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear.

CAPTIVATED BY YOU has redeemed Sylvia Day!--After the shock (and semi-disappointment) of the third book in this series, the next in sequence was 100% better than book three. I listened in one sitting basically--maybe it was the addition of a male narrator, giving Jill R. a break from straining those vocal chords to reach the 'Gideon bass' she tries so hard to do; having Gideon's perspective really made me enjoy the story that much more. This story was more balanced than book three, and in comparison to the series as a whole, it was equal to how good I felt books 1 and 2 were, giving me everything that I love about Eva and Gideon. They continue to navigate their way through major issues, while the haters keep coming. Some of the more serious parts of the story shattered me a bit, but, I am hopeful that these two will find their way. These two may be the King and Queen of co-dependency but boy do I love how intensely they love each other! On top of all that, the hotness scale reached a tipping point in a few key scenes, so kudos once again to Sylvia Day for writing some of the best sexy scenes I've listened to. I highly recommend this one!

Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other.... which would explain why their marriage lasted only 12 hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman - or just what he needs.

Dirty, rowdy, & deliciously awesome, Christina Lauren did a bang up job in the second release of this series. Sweet Filthy Boy (book 1) was merely the warm-up for this one! Something about these stories and characters that makes me want to know them and befriend and/or bed them---seriously, all these twenty- to thirty-something's are SMOKING HOT, and totally endearing.

I loved that I laughed throughout almost every chapter, and am immediately going to listen again because it was just that good. I can't wait for more from this dynamic writing duo! They know how to craft a smart and sexy novel with interesting characters that you'd absolutely need to know more about. I highly recommend this series and give it 5 fantastic stars!

I'm definitely not a biker babe, but these bike club love stories have me completely hooked! I've loved every single story from Madeline Sheehan so far, and based on the ending of this one, I am going to be counting down the minutes until book 5 is released!!

This was a super gritty love story, featuring betrayals of epic proportions, and characters that spent nearly a lifetime trying to find a slice of happiness and love. This is such a well written and expertly narrated series. Start with book 1 if you're new to the series. I highly recommend it!

Wow, brace yourself for some seriously hot sex with this one! If you're not ok with threesomes and M/M love scenes--BUYER BEWARE! If you've just stumbled upon this series, Sinners are a naughty little crew of rockers that live up to their band name, but, the storyline is always about love and acceptance; Double Time pushes the limits of that acceptance for sure. I've enjoyed every book so far, however, this one didn't have the substance that the others had. It was predictable, but, still good, just not over the moon fantastically good like the others in the series. Reagan's and Ethan's characters were well crafted for Trey's polyamorous preferences, and ultimately, you can't help but, root for him to find true love like the rest of his crew.

I'm still a Sinners fan, and welcome more from this crew, and maybe a spin-off of Exodus End??---is that a pseudonym for Sole Regret? Anyway, I highly recommend Olivia Cunning books, especially Sinners, for all you folks that enjoy a little bit of naughty romance!

Crave was SO GOOD! I love every character in this series so far, even Davina with her crazy evil self! I thought nothing would compare to the BDB, but, the Fallen Angels series is in a league of phenomenal all on its own. Moral lines are seriously blurred in Crave, when sexy bad boy Isaac and the good lawyer Greer cross paths. Another epic battle between good and evil ensues, and even more interesting things are revealed about this cast of angels and demons, that makes you CRAVE more!

I found myself rewinding 30 seconds a few times throughout this story, because I literally didn't want to miss one thing--it's that good. Get it, don't even think twice, it's a credit well spent.

The world according to Drew Evans is a world that promises non-stop laughter, "eye rolling" arrogant comments, and definitely moments of real tenderness as he and Kate continue their love story into parenthood and marriage. If this is the final chapter for Drew and Kate, it's a great ending to this series, and I highly recommend it for romantic comedy lovers.

When a phone call brings news that she’s inherited a beautiful old home in Mendocino, California from a long-forgotten aunt, she moves her entire life across the country to embark on what she sees as a great, romance-novel-worthy adventure. But romance novels always have a twist, don’t they? There’s a cowboy, one that ignites her loins. Because Cowboy Hank is totally loin-ignition worthy. But there’s also a librarian, Clark Barrow. This spinoff from Wallbanger was hilarious! Viv, the cowboy, and the sexy librarian totally had me cracking up chapter after chapter. If you like to root for the underdog, this is the quirky romance novel for you! It's totally different than Wallbanger, but, very much the same in that you will fall head over heels for Alice Clayton books. It's more or less a stand alone book even though it's advertised as book 3 in a series. I highly recommend this one as a credit worthy purchase.
