The honeymoon is over, now the murders can begin. America's #1 thriller writer returns with his sexiest, scariest novel ever. Hotter than The Beach House and scarier than Kiss the Girls, James Patterson's explosive new thriller introduces a bride who is beautiful, talented, devoted, and deadly.

    "Keep it simple!"
    Overall

I could not even listen to the whole story because having a different voices narrate for each part was so distracting. I can use my imagination to embellish the story without any help! Keep is simple, one narrator please!!!!!

Eve Dallas is a New York police lieutenant hunting for a ruthless killer. In over 10 years on the force, she's seen it all - and knows that her survival depends on her instincts. Perhaps the description could have mentioned it is set in the future. It lost me when it talked "off planet branches" and sky traffic being heavy. Not my style of book. I tried, but I could only make it an hour...

Libby Day was seven when her mother and two sisters were murdered in "The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas". As her family lay dying, little Libby fled their tiny farmhouse into the freezing January snow. She lost some fingers and toes, but she survived, and famously testified that her 15-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, Ben sits in prison, and troubled Libby lives off the dregs of a trust created by well-wishers who've long forgotten her.

Enjoyed every bit of this book even though I wasn't sure that I would in the beginning. Can't wait to read more from Gillian Flynn.

Lots of chasing and rather predictable outcomes made me glad to finish this book. I might try another in this series just to be fair...

Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It's no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients. But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face to face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame.
