This was my first audio book, but I loved it. Listening to the story really puts you in the story.
the various "How did this happen" type scenes were memorable. Hearing all the different versions of how it happened goes to show how easy it is to change real history and it gave me goosebumps even thinking "What If".
The escape scene was an exciting moment. Also left me wondering.... Did they really make it?
Having to give up the child she gave birth too. That was heartbreaking. And hearing the Recycle center being used when they talk about people who are gone. That was sad too
If you can get past the big name on the book you should give it a chance. Harriet Parke did a wonderful job on this book. She put her heart and soul into this and it is worth reading. I gave it a shot and was not disappointed at all.
Of course. I have listened 2 times already. I just really enjoyed it. Made a zombie Apocalypse seem a little more personal. Rather than constant kill kill fight scenario's. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)
The various points of view.
Well most of them were well know actors and actresses so yes. I have seen them perform before.
