In a world full to bursting with would-be heroes, Jim couldn't be less interested in saving the day. His fireballs fizzle. He's awfully grumpy. Plus, he's been dead for about 60 years. When a renegade necromancer wrenches him from eternal slumber and into a world gone terribly, bizarrely wrong, all Jim wants is to find a way to die properly, once and for all. On his side, he's got a few shambling corpses, an inept thief, and a powerful death wish. But he's up against tough odds....

Would you consider the audio edition of Mogworld to be better than the print version?

Alright folks, this book is funny. Yahtzee does a great job with the voices, such as the ever optimistic Merril, who cracks me up whenever she speaks. this is humor on par with Douglas Adams and the sort.

Helsinki, December 1999. Nick Stone, ex-SAS, now working for British Intelligence on deniable operations, is tough, resourceful, ruthless, highly-trained, and desperately in need of cash. Offered the lucrative freelance job of kidnapping a Mafia warlord and delivering him to St Petersburg, it seems to Stone that his problems are over. In fact, they are only just beginning.

    Robert says: "Very, very enjoyable"
"Not so cool a lead character"
    Overall

This lead character is somewhat of a wuss. HE gets in situations where you want him to kick tail, but he doesnt. Additionally, the author is way too wordy. HE gives so much detail that I ended up spacing out and just wanting the book to end. Will not read any of his other stuff.

It is the greatest bounty hunt in history. There are 15 targets, the finest warriors in the world, commandos, spies, terrorists, and they must all be dead by noon, today. The price on their heads: almost $20 million each.

Reilly, is quickly becoming my absolute favorite writer. His characters are comic book heros. The story is non-stop excitement, to the point where you can not stop listening because there is always some sort of cliff hanger. If you want a true ACTION story, this is the story for you.
