I was so excited that Harlan Coben had a new book that I pre-ordered it. I wish that it had fulfilled my expectations for a suspenseful story with fascinating twists and intriguing characters instead of being a sappy, somewhat predictable romance novel with characters I didn't really care about. Mainly disappointment in the author, but also frustration because I continued to listen with hopes that the book would get better.
