    I am 29 years old and I loved this book! The narration is excellent and brings this wonderful series to life. Diane Duane's "The Young Wizards" series ranked 4th in a recent online article about books that are better than the Harry Potter series.

    There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

    As far as this series goes, it remains as good as the first book.

    The continuity of the story arcs and character development.

    Joe Ledger.

    I was on pins and needles near the end of the book, when the Captain had to deal with more losses.

    Maberry and Porter are like Rowling and Richard Harris or Burton and Depp. You will not be disappointed in listening.

    Yes!


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Throne of the Crescent Moon?

    I enjoyed the way the narrator made the conversations between characters REAL, not just lines of dialogue.


    Have you listened to any of Phil Gigante’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No, but I will in the future!


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    It gripped me like very few audiobooks have. I felt like I was sitting at the feet of a master story-teller. I felt the emotions of the characters, laughed at the banter between them and held my breath at the end of a chapter.

    This book changed my life! From the opening 30 minutes, I felt what it was like to fall in love at first sight! The author carries the theme of how much Henry loves his wife throughout the entire book with tenderness and a rich, descriptive narrative that really makes the listener feel for these characters. What I loved most was how real the conversations are between Henry and Claire. You feel you are with them in every moment. It is an emotional roller-coaster of a ride that makes you smile, laugh, cry, hope, and despair all at once. The narrators capture the essences of the characters perfectly. I could not stop listening to this recording. It has made me appreciate each moment of life and the joy of sharing those moments with the one I love. "The Time Traveler's Wife" captures what it is to love another person at every stage of a relationship from start to finish, if loving someone has limits, that is. Especially touching is Henry's letter to Claire. Read this book! It will change your life and the way you look at those around you.
