"Moving account of some terrible history"
While I agree that the age of the main character did not jive with the timeline, the storytelling was strong and moving.
"Wins on both story and narration"
This is the best audiobook of the year. The story and the narrator are outstanding. I go through hundreds of audiobooks each year during my commute, and many plots and characters are predictable and repetitive. Ghosts is neither and Doyle makes for entertaining story telling.
"Exceptional"
Both the author and the narrator have outdone themselves. All of Tana French's novels have been outstanding, and this may be the best. Truly memorable.
"One of his best yet!"
Baldacci delivers again and this one might be my favorite or at least one of them. The narration is also excellent.
"Great book, terrible narrator"
This was a good action story that I wish I had read rather than heard. The narrator should never have attempted to speak with Cajun or Arabic accents - terrible. She gives the female character a voice that sounds hysterical and juvenile, which is at odds with her acclaimed veterinarian and genetic education. I will not purchase future books read by the narrator although I will purchase Rollins' books read by other narrators.
"Great plot"
This is an excellent summer listen.
