George Carlin read this when he was older so his voice is better, I think. In fact, he read it at the perfect time - when he was old enough to develop a certain kind of comedic voice without getting too old like he was during his last HBO special.

Any of his stand-up material. In fact, too often he repeats the exact same things from his stand-up material. There is new material, but half of the time the new material is one-liners. There's no real transitions besides a piano roll at the end of each chapter, and what's even worse, is that the chapters aren't even very coherent themselves sometimes.

Much of this is exactly the same as his stand-up material. I have seen all his stand-up stuff as well as seen interviews with him, so not much is different than what I already know. There are a few major differences, however, between this and his stand-up comedy. For instance, there is no audience, he doesn't have the exact same passion as he does in his stand-up (although it is close), and as stated before, there are piano rolls at the beginning of each new chapter.

If you like his stand-up material, you'll like this. This is a bargain of a price for over seven hours worth of jokes. However, if you've already seen all his stand-up, you probably won't need this. But for this is a must for any die-hard Carlin fan (as myself), and anyone looking for a good quote.

I never read the print edition before, but if I had to guess, I would say that the audio edition is better because of how well Carolyn McCormick dramatizes things. Her voice is crystal clear the entire time, but she uses just enough emotion as Katniss and her thoughts that I get a real sense that McCormick really is Katniss.

I'm not much of an avid reader, but this story combines a dystopian landscape with adventure and, at the third act, romance. It's also action-packed and full of drama. But it's also written for a PG audience, although the film tie-in is PG-13.

When Katniss sings to Rue. It made me cry. :(

Near the end when Katniss pulls out the deadly berries and gives some to Peeta so instead of one of the being a winner, they would both die together.

This is an incredible book, and my first full-on audiobook listen. If you like books with a lot going on really fast and suspenseful, this will be the book for you!
