The land of Terre d'Ange is a place of unsurpassed beauty and grace. The inhabiting race rose from the seed of angels and men, and they live by one simple rule: Love as thou wilt. Phèdre nó Delaunay was sold into indentured servitude as a child. Her bond was purchased by a nobleman, the first to recognize that she is one pricked by Kushiel's Dart, chosen to forever experience pain and pleasure as one.

Would you try another book from Jacqueline Carey and/or Anne Flosnik?

iI really dont think I would. I have been trying to get through this book and it just bores me. From the description you would expect something to happen but it hasn't. I don

Would you ever listen to anything by Jacqueline Carey again?

No. I have wasted enough money on what I already have paid for. If it was free I may but highly doubt it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Anne Flosnik’s performances?

Most definetly not I find her voice very boring

When Anita Blake meets with prospective client Tony Bennington, who is desperate to have her reanimate his recently deceased wife, she is full of sympathy for his loss. Anita knows something about love, and she knows everything there is to know about loss. But what she also knows, though Tony Bennington seems unwilling to be convinced, is that the thing she can do as a necromancer isn't the miracle he thinks he needs.

I did enjoy this book but felt it was really short. NICE fluff story but I like my drama alittle like the earlier books in the series.
