Anna Fields does a masterly job of narrating this timeless classic. She has a wonderful voice and handles characterizations well, from the wicked witches to Dorothy, the cowardly lion, the wizard and others notable characters including the mouse queen. I look forward to hearing more titles narrated by Ms. Fields, including the sequel to Wizard of Oz.

Outstanding collection of tales. As stated, great to listen to on a stormy night. Some of the narrators are superb, but all are at least very good. These stories are among the best you will hear on audible.

I have other versions of Around in the World in 80 Days from Audible and all are very good to excellent narrations, but Jim Dale's narration is the best by far! What an audiobook!

The production also enhances Mr. Dale's performance with very subtle moments of background music or locomotives that enhance the narration yet maintain this audiobook in its pure narrative form. Dale's characterizations are excellent and consistent.

Since listening to this version, I have searched for other audiobooks by Mr. Dale as well as other book productions by Listening Library and look forward to listening to these as well, so impressed was I by this version.

Excellent novel with great narration. Elleston Trevor is a highly skilled writer. He is also famous for espionage novels under a different name but this book is a wonderful read with vivid characters.

It is a classic and was made into a movie with James Stewart and Richard Attenborough, among others, who did it justice. There is now a recent movie with Dennis Quaid, so we are lucky to get this in audible. What a treat! Highly recommended.

I was initially concerned because of the possiblitiy of music included in the narration, but thankfully, the music only sets the tone to wonderful, absolutely professional narration by some of the best narrators. This collection includes some of the best by the best horror writers, and is also narrated by the best narrators out there. William Dufris does an excellent job as always. All other narrators are equally notable. If you happen to also have Geraint Wyn Davies' narrations to compare, you will see that the narrator of Body Snatchers holds his own very well, which is no small feat with Geraint Wynn Davies. Great horror with equally great narration!!

This title was one of the first in the Audible library and remains one of the best. Jack Foreman does an outstanding job providing atmosphere and character. It is surprising that this is the only audiobook narration in the audible library by Mr. Foreman. Like Geraint Wynn Davies, who is also an excellent narrator of horror, he provides just the right tone for impending doom and terror. Other narrators of Poe, including Vincent Price and Basil Rathbone do a fine job but not equal to Mr. Foreman. I highly recommend this reading of an excellent collection of Poe stories.

This great classic by Sinclair Lewis is a mix of well drawn characters that both touches your heart and engages your mind. Although its fame lies in its depiction of the provincialism of Midwest attitudes, it far surpasses this narrow view of the book. It touches on our humanity. This also happens to be an oustanding narration with excellent audio clarity. Outstanding classic by one of America's leading literary lights.

This is an outstanding audiobook on several levels. First, the narration is superb. The narrator has a broad range of characterizations that are beleivable and well maintained throughout the narration. Second, the clarity of the audio recording is excellent. Third, this happens to be one of the classic swashbucklers by Rafael Sabatini. I am hoping audible will add Sabatini's greatest work, Scaramouche, to the library, hopefully narrated by Mr. Whitfield. Until then, Captain Blood is an extremely satisfying and high quality recording.
