They were just kids when they stumbled upon the horror of their hometown. Now, as adults, none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them all back to Derry, Maine, to face the nightmare without end, and the evil without a name.

    "FABULOUS narration!!!!!!"
    Overall

i've gotten very hooked on audio books and buy the ones that i've read at some point in the past so i know the storyline. this narrator is one of the top narrators i've listened to so far! made a 1000 mile/way trip up home much more enjoyable! he's an excellent choice as a narrator!

In John Scalzi's re-imagining of H. Beam Piper's 1962 sci-fi classic Little Fuzzy, written with the full cooperation of the Piper Estate, Jack Holloway works alone for reasons he doesnt care to talk about. Hundreds of miles from ZaraCorps headquarters on planet, 178 light-years from the corporations headquarters on Earth, Jack is content as an independent contractor, prospecting and surveying at his own pace. As for his past, thats not up for discussion.

i read the original stories by hb piper way back in highschool and really liked the rewrite. i would have preferred a narrator that can do different voices however. wil wheaton reads well but all the character sounded the same 90% of the time.

ms. l'engle really needs to have this redone with a professional narrator. i really enjoyed these books as a pre-teen but her narration was painful to listen to. for anyone considering these books, just get the print version, they are truly wonderful!
