Featuring David Sedaris's unique blend of hilarity and heart, this new collection of keen-eyed animal-themed tales is an utter delight. Though the characters may not be human, the situations in these stories bear an uncanny resemblance to the insanity of everyday life.

This book is a collection of short fables that walks the line between charming and pleasantly offensive. Each story has its own little lesson behind it, but they're not right in your face. It almost requires some thought to determine WHAT exactly the moral of each story happens to be. But this actually makes it a really enjoyable listen. Not to mention the great cast of voice actors that were brought in for the different stories. HIGHLY recommend this one.

Marlowe is back...and he's married to a rich, beautiful society lady who wants him to settle down in the posh desert community of Poodle Springs. Marlowe may have married rich, but old habits die hard: he's hired to recover a gambling debt and soon finds himself in a case involving bigamy, pornography and murder. The first four chapters of this final Marlowe mystery were written by noir master Raymond Chandler at the end of his life. Robert B. Parker was chosen by Chandler's estate to complete his last work.

Poodle Springs was co-authored by both Raymond Chandler AND Robert B. Parker because Chandler died while the book was still yet unfinished. Despite this fact, this book somehow ended up being one of the most memorable in the entire Philip Marlowe series of novels. Parker did SUCH an amazing job of re-creating Chandler's voice that it is impossible to tell where he might have possibly picked up writing the story. If you are a fan of ANY form of detective fiction, this book will leave you hanging on to every word.

The informational content in this book is really quite fascinating, BUT... The authors keep going off on tangents about THEMSELVES, and dictations of (supposedly) humorous conversations between them.I think this would be a GREAT read on paper, (so you have the option of skipping through all the self-indulgent banter), but the audio format is a bit painful to listen to. Don't get me wrong, there ARE tons of interesting gems of questions sprinkled throughout the text. The only problem is that you have to sit through minutes of boredom at a time to get to them...6.5 / 10

This selection of some of Asimov's most enduring and unforgettable stories is read by the author himself. These vintage tales encompass the full range of Asimov's versatility, while displaying his puckish sense of humor.

As said in the title, the stories in this book are top notch, but the author's voice actually takes AWAY from the listening experience. He has a very nasally voice and I think the text would have been much better treated had they hired an actual actor to read the content. Apart from that, it is very hard to tell where one story starts and the next one begins, as there is no announcement or pause to let you know that any of the stories have ended.

Do Flying Saucers or UFOs really exist? If so, are they of extra-terrestrial origin? Have we been told the truth about them? Are governments and security organizations concealing the real facts?

THIS kind of media is the reason the public as a whole doesn't take this topic very seriously. Very poorly written, acted, and produced. Pass on this one.

Get ready, because Norm Macdonald, one of the world’s funniest and most subversive comedians, is letting loose in his first-ever one-hour stand-up special, titled "Norm Macdonald: Me Doing Stand-Up". Norm Macdonald, the iconic anchor of SNL’s “Weekend Update” and star of the cult classic Dirty Work, is back with a vengeance. This time he serves up a hilarious hour of stand-up comedy, covering everything from cheating death, 24-hour news stories, shameful sex, serial killers, and cheese sandwiches.

Ansari is an amazing conversational comedian. One of the few performers out there that you just enjoy listening to talk about any topic. This special could have easily been twice as long and I wouldn't have gotten bored.

Despite the fact that the majority of the material in this book is hilarious, it is almost impossible to listen to this book for more than 20 minutes at a time. Every 10 or so words, the phrase "New Rule!" is repeated. I imagine this would actually have been a more enjoyable READ rather than an enjoyable LISTEN.

Late in his life, he became well known for a series of popular books about UFOs and other paranormal phenomena. Hear stories of Flying Saucers, Wild Astronomer Reports, Crazy Power Sources, Censorship and government coverups, Moon Signals, Contactees and much more.

Despite being from 1966, this short audiobook was jam-packed full of information that I'd never heard before regarding the topic. One piece of information I found fascinating was the fact that the astronomer who discovered Pluto had a UFO sighting in 1949 in which he stated that he was sure that was he saw "was of extraterrestrial design".

I especially recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of David Sedaris. Similar in many ways but Klosterman has a special charm to his writing that you can't find anywhere else.
