I would consider the audio version better than print ONLY because the author was reading it. I read the print version a few years back and thought it was an amazing story. Listening to the author tell her own story in the non judgemental way the book was written, made the story come alive for me.
We are not all victim's of circumstance
Juliet Stevenson, by far, does the most delightful narration for Jane Austen novels. Her voice is strong and clear and she creates memorable characters with pitch and accent so that you always know who's speaking. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
