This is a must read for educators, business folks, and human beings in general. The material can be very far reaching if spread to the right places! As a newly retired educator, I can affirm that this is not the direction that our educational system is headed, but the leadership needs to have this material in hand... and as quickly as possible for the sake of the students! (Quite frankly, it will be very welcome to the teaching artists in the classroom!)
Seth Godin is a genius! Now that I am working in my own business, I hear him quoted everywhere I go. This book is one of the many reasons why.

I usually like to listen to an audiobook read by the author because it adds authenticity. This is no exception. Joel is an excellent speaker and that comes across in his audio book as well. I bought this on audio partially because of that . I have the print versions of his other books. I love the personal tone that he takes. His warmth and energy comes through very well, Well worth the money.

Hard work may not make you a million bucks, but it's the only way to self respect and inner/outer happiness.

Energizing... I need to keep listening again and again for weekly doses of inspiration!

It was interesting and informative, although not as funny as I was expecting. It really gave a clear picture about where George Carlin came from and what his life was all about, mostly in his own words.

I really got a lot out of this book. I would have bought it as written text, but I really enjoyed
listening to it, piece by piece.

Each piece of advice was unique, yet all advice was divided into sections so that it made sense within the context of the book. There were also introductions for the sections by Katie Couric, which were all enchanting. I will surely listen to it more than once and definitely get my money's worth!
