Would you listen to Life After Death again? Why?

Absolutely! It was so powerful and uplifting.

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that he read it. It felt like you were sitting down next to him while he told you an unbelievable story.

Have you listened to any of Damien Echols’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not but if he has more I definitely will.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Just like the book. LIfe after Death. I did like his idea of a mini-series because there is so much to tell a movie would not do it justice.

What she doesn’t have is a ring on her finger. And after being ditched at the altar, she’s in no hurry to get one. Besides, plenty of other issues keep her busy, including her wayward father, a new rival at work, and an ever-nagging fear that her life is not turning out as she thought it would...or should.

Would you try another book from Maria Murnane and/or Julia Whelan?

Yes, I think I would give her another try. I have already listened to Julia Whelan and like her.

Do you think Perfect on Paper needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Nope, it doesn't. It ended where it needed to be.

    Any additional comments?

A little too slow. They finally get together and it was hurried. I thought it took way to long to "get to the point". It was a decent book and glad I bought it on the "daily special".

Owning a strip club isn't the fantasy most guys expect it to be. With long hours, a staff with enough issues to keep a psych ward in business, and the police regularly on his case, twenty-nine-year-old Cain is starting to second guess his unspoken mission to save the women he employs. And then blond, brown-eyed Charlie Rourke walks through his door, and things get really complicated. Cain abides by a strict "no sleeping with the staff" rule. But being around Charlie challenges Cain's self-control…and it's been a long time since any woman has done that.

Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may or may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane onto the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow -- alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.

Luckily you don’t have to run to catch up with them, thanks to McDougall’s and Sanders’ inspiring (and motivating) journey through history, science, physiology, health, entertaining characters and unlikely friendships. Full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science, and, most of all, pure inspiration, Born to Run is an epic adventure.

Once every year, Scoutmaster Tim Riggs leads a troop of boys into the Canadian wilderness for a weekend camping trip - a tradition as comforting and reliable as a good ghost story around a roaring bonfre. The boys are a tight-knit crew. There’s Kent, one of the most popular kids in school; Ephraim and Max, also well-liked and easygoing; then there’s Newt the nerd and Shelley the odd duck. For the most part, they all get along and are happy to be there - which makes Scoutmaster Tim’s job a little easier.

The sample does not do Corey Brill justice. I did not like the sample but it was the a book club choice so I felt I had to do it. Glad I did because he did a great job of narrating the book.

If you could rename The Troop, what would you call it?

    Contagion!

    Any additional comments?

The book was very descriptive (almost too much) but overall was very well written. Even though I will probably have nightmares it was worth it.
