Erotic, Love Magnus!
In the first one in this series-I was disappointed with her performance HOWEVER- she was amazing in this one! She really brought these characters to life.
Loved this book- laughed and smiled at sly little Dae.
A must listen, good storyline, intrigued by the shadowdweller world-- want to hear the next book- Pleasure.
Jim Frangione brings this book to life. I have read AND listened to all of them and this narrator nails it everytime! JR WARDS writing is ALWAYS phenomenal! This series is one of the best out there for paranormal romance ( with J Frank and G Showlater OF COURSE)
John Matthews getting what he deserves- a powerfully strong woman in Xhex
You can not make a film about a series and get it right, Besides an appropriate TAG line would be so inappropriate
Get the whole series- start at book 1 and work your way up. When you get to Vishous- think David Gandy and all will be right in the world :)
Yes, already listenened to it twice! Great story, great series, love the characters, Xe Sands is one of the best narrators I have ever listened to. Her voice is amazing. Perfect for the series of night walkers.
The unique story line. The characters abilities
Her ability to change voices with each sounding perfect.
Loved through and through
Once you listen to Jacob you have to hear Gideon and you are hooked. Keeps getting better- get Elijah next!
Intriguing! Sensual! New!
Talented narrator- brought the characters to life
Every instance where Jacob shows his vulnerability- very moving!
Jacquelyn Frank is one of the best Paranormal romance authors out there (Gena Showalter the other) When you start one of their series you MUST have them all. You escape reality and are IN their worlds! Thank YOU! Addicting.
The narrator- voice is very stuffy. Maybe too old sounding as well. Sounds almost as if reading a manual of some sort, technical tone to her voice. Made it hard to feel the book, and find the voice of the author. She would be better suited for a conspiracy novel.
Yes, but with a new narrator
I think I would rather have "read" this book than "heard" it. Some romance was lost "in translation"
Ky- his character development and the voice of the male narrator- Much better, He brings Ky to life
Divergent Trilogy, Enclave and the like. Dystopian Society
Movies never capture a book correctly but.. Do you be who SOCIETY wants you to be or do you be YOU
Second book very well written, brought tears to my eyes multiple times.
The story line is great.
When Cassia finally figures out who she loves, the moments on the hill
A narrator with an older voice, after all the characters are to be 17 but sound like a 12 year old
Moved when Cassia becomes honest with herself, Xander, and Ky and starts to act on her fears
At the start I was "put off"" by the narrators voice but continued because of the story line and I wanted to see how it played out (Just as I predicted) I did like it and I continued to the next book Crossed- which is better in my opinion. So keep listening.
Yes, The characters will keep you wanting more
JACE. Clary. Simon. Isabella. MAGNUS. Alec. They work very well together.
You must listen. There are so many.
Imaging the characters as they unfold throughout the series
JACE. Listen and you will find out.
No, but I am not thrilled with the change in narrators. Keep the same one for an entire series. It is distracting to get used to new voices.
You can't get enough of these characters
Will's character unfolds further and you fall in love with both him (and Jem).
Yes, Ed Westwick's voice is perfect for this time period and characters.
Can not wait for Clockwork Princess
