In the small city of Strattenburg, there are many lawyers, and though he’s only 13 years old, Theo Boone thinks he’s one of them. Theo knows every judge, policeman, court clerk—and a lot about the law. He dreams of being a great trial lawyer, of a life in the courtroom. But Theo finds himself in court much sooner than expected. Because he knows so much—maybe too much—he is suddenly dragged into the middle of a sensational murder trial.

Brian says: "Fantastic for young audience, Good for adults"
    "Disappointing"
    Overall

I am a huge fan of Grisham and have read or listened to every book he has written. I have to say I was disappointed in this one. It was very simple and seems to be written for a very young audience. It also ended quickly without wrapping everything up. I kept thinking it would get better. Sorry, I was just disappointed. Not the John Grisham of old.

NYPD detective Jacob Kanon is on a tour of Europe's most gorgeous cities. But the sights aren't what draw him - he sees each museum, each cathedral, and each cafe through the eyes of his daughter's killer.

Rose says: "Come on, James, Can you think of some new material"
    "Fooled again!"
    Overall

I am a huge James Patterson fan. I have read every book he wrote by himself. However, every book I have bought that he wrote with someone else has been a huge disappointment. This was no exception. I've said it before but I will NEVER buy another book he writes with anyone else, they are NOT his books. A total waste of my money.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Jan says: "What a great surprise!"
    "Loved, Loved, Loved it!"

The book was amazing and loved the way Jenna Lamia read her part. I was sad when it was over. I will listen to it again! Amazing book!!!

Lauren Stillwell isn't your average damsel in distress. When the NYPD cop discovers her husband leaving a hotel with another woman, she decides to beat him at his own game. But her revenge goes dangerously awry, and she finds her world spiraling into a hell that becomes more terrifying by the hour.

I have been a James Patterson since the beginning. I have read all of his books but this is my last one. I am so disappointed in his last few books written with someone else. The quality just isn't there anymore.
