What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I don't think there was any way to make this story enjoyable. There is no way to identify with the heroine of the story, she is spoiled, ditzy and always insists on her own way. This is one time when I didn't want the two characters to get together she was so horrid. I don't see any man putting up with a female like that!! There were definately funny parts and the story line was good but horrible female character.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Narrator's female voice very grating.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from To Die For?

The scene's themselves were fine just horrid interaction between the females and the hero. The also way to make this better would have been to make the heroine a decent person.

    Any additional comments?

It should also be pointed out that this story is told in the first person for those of us that don't enjoy a story written in the first person.

With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.

Would you consider the audio edition of Dark Witch to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print edition yet.

What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?

Katherine has to be one of the best narrators that I have ever heard. She had great accents and change of voice for all characters. During all parts of the book she actually made me feel like I was there.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Absolutely!!!

    Any additional comments?

I love Nora Roberts books and Katherine was the perfect narrator.

Would you try another book from Christine Warren and/or Kate Reading?

No to the author but yes to the narrator.

Has Hungry Like a Wolf turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I love the genre but not the author. I will not be listening to anymore in this series. There was way to much anger for me to enjoy the book.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Hungry Like a Wolf?

I would have advised the author to tone down on the angry outbursts of the heroine.

    Any additional comments?

I love paranorma romance and friction between the main characters but this was way overboard. The writing itself was well done and if you gage a book but how it makes you feel then it was successful BUT I don't read romances to be left feeling angry. The heroine was a truly awful character that I could in no way relate to. I love a strong female lead but I read/listen to shifter romances partly because I love the alpha males not a female that can walk all overtop of them. I couldn't listen past about the 7th chapter and then even skipping to the end I was still left angry.

If you could sum up Breaking the Rules in three words, what would they be?

What a ride!!! The narration of this book was absolutely incredible and it made for a fast paced, can't put it down ride. The two different narrators really added to the book. I think I enjoyed listening to this book way better than I would have enjoyed reading it.

What did you like best about this story?

    Fast paced with great narration

Have you listened to any of Patrick Lawlor and Renee Raudman ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    no

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Oh ya.
