"Stephen King a Romance Novelist too Who Knew!!"
Love, Life, Loss
Cuthbert Allgood, I love his sense of humor!!
Hands down Detta Walker. He does an out of this world job on Detta Walker's character.
Getting through the first Dark Tower book was a little like pulling teeth. But oh so worth sticking to it! Every other book in the series is wonderful, with this book being my very favorite.
"Just trying to make it through it"
I love Stephen King Duma Key, 11/22/63, and Under the Dome are wonderfully great books. I am not finished with this yet so my tune may still change but this book has bored me to tears. I am half way through and keep thinking and when am I going to stop being depressed. In all fairness though I for one do not like to listen to female narrators (it's just a personal preference) so that may have a little to do with it as well.
This book is a little hard to follow listening to it, maybe reading it would possibly be a bit better. But this book bores me with the baby talk and the senseless rambling.
It's not her fault, I am not a fan of females reading to me is all.
Well it is Stephen King so YES but I am positive when the movie cuts off some of the fluff it would be good.
Like I said this is only my review halfway through so who knows I may get to the end and say Wow what a wonderful story. But, so far I'm like OMG I know; I can't imagine how you must feel I feel sorry for you. And your hubby seemed like a bit of an egotistical donkey's behind that made you feel less than him, you stood in his shadow and actually thanked him for it. But, come on can you please get on with the story behind the story!
"Brilliant"
Do you think Stephen King ever gets tired of hearing "Stephen King has done it again" I am going to say that about this book!!! It's very much worth a second listen
Elizabeth - Her strength and courage
Yes but I don't want to give anything away. You know when you get to that part because it will move you as well. Although, really the book as a whole was very moving.
Thumbs up again!!
"THE BEST STEPHEN KING"
I fell in love with the characters, they were so real I actually missed them when the story was over!
Saying the best Stephen King is like saying the best piece of chocolate in the box. They are all good but this one really stands out. What I liked best about this story is probably the link to history, the research that must have went into this is astounding. If you like history meets fiction you will LOVE this book!!
Mr. Wasson is wonderful!!! He brings the story to life!
Every one of Stephen King's books bring an extreme reaction that is what makes him great, but yes there were tears at least twice that I remember.
Absolutely the BEST book ever!!
