Waiting for the completion of this tale is agonizing. I truly love all the characters and after sailing through all the books to get to this point, I realize there's no conclusion. Because of this, I vow never again to begin a series that is not already complete. I truly can't handle waiting years between installments.

I love Terry Brooks and especially the Shannara series....this is true to the series, but fresh and exciting. The story is so relevant to the long standing story line that flows through all the Shannara stories (much more than the High Druid series). I only wish the whole series were already complete. I read this in only two days and now find myself contemplating in anguish the years it will take before the journey is complete.

The performance of the story really brought it to life, I will be listening to the next book and probably reading the last of the series. Really good characters and world, my only complaint is that it seems like the authors spent more time building the world than in telling the adventure. I would have thought the war with Darien would have been long and involved and more telling...instead of an explosion, no answers and it's over. We'll see.....maybe it's in the next book
