No. I found the main character to be cold and unlikable. All but one of the men in this story were foolish. The doctor friend she met in Co. was my favorite character.
George gave a decent performance...
Yes, but I probably won't bother with it...
Did Evan Currie actually write this book? The story takes place in the same universe as the other titles, but this story feels like it was written by someone else.
Yes, and I have.
Another book from this genre.
As always, yes.
The whole book
This series is a little long in the tooth. I was left with the feeling that Kyle Riggs is an idiot.
A main character that behaved more intelligently.
I would skip the plank sequences
The main character did not behave intelligently, and he acted too emotional.
I'm too busy to read text. Audio books allow me to consume and absorb the content while performing other tasks.
I love the new direction and back stories.
Trip was halarious.
Yes, but work and sleep prevented me from doing so.
Can't wait for the next edition.
I would try other books by this author, and even retry this title if a new narrator was selected.
Having Mark Boyett narrate the story.
Only after he gets better direction on how to narrate a story.
Anger. I find the subject matter very interesting, but could not follow the story, or who was speaking.
I even tried slowing the playback to .75, which made it worse. I hope this is reread with another narrator.
The story seemed to jump around. The characters were difficult to keep track of. The ending was not explained well. I only have a general understanding of what the book was about.
Somewhat, but the story jumped around so much it's difficult to know for sure.
Better editing, a more clearly defined time line would make this story much better.
Elimination of the main characters relationship issues.
It was difficult for me to listen to the main character's relationship issues, I was expecting an action novel.
The performance was ok...
Basic plot was interesting.
This book wasn't for me, but that does not mean others won't enjoy it.
The series started off well enough, but I grew tired of waiting for more episodes to come out. The piecemeal release of each episode is how tv networks operate, I don't want the same thing in my books.
The first book in the series.
My extreme reaction caused me to preorder the whole series.
After the ninth episode, I canceled the rest. I decided not to put up with having to wait. If a full book is published, I'll be one of the first to order it.
Read book one and two of the series. Lost interest midway through book two, have no plans to read book three. Just lost interest in the characters.
Listened to book one of the series, book two seems to go even further into the "Lifetime Channel" realm.
Yes for the Lifetime channel.
The story is decent, but the constant talk of feelings and inner struggle is difficult to listen through.
