Pia Grazdani, the embattled medical student from Death Benefit, decides to take a year off from her medical studies and escape New York City. Intrigued by the promise of the burgeoning field of medical technology and the chance to clear her head, Pia takes a job at Nano, LLC, a lavishly funded, security-conscious nanotechnology insititute in the picturesque foothills of the Rockies. Nano, LLC is ahead of the curve in the competitive world of molecular manufacturing, including the construction of microbivores, tiny nano-robots with the ability to gobble up viruses and bacteria. But the corporate campus is a place of secrets.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. I found the main character to be cold and unlikable. All but one of the men in this story were foolish. The doctor friend she met in Co. was my favorite character.

What aspect of George Guidall’s performance would you have changed?

    George gave a decent performance...

Do you think Nano needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, but I probably won't bother with it...

Where does The B-Team rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The series started off well enough, but I grew tired of waiting for more episodes to come out. The piecemeal release of each episode is how tv networks operate, I don't want the same thing in my books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The B-Team?

The first book in the series.

What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Great narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My extreme reaction caused me to preorder the whole series.

    Any additional comments?

After the ninth episode, I canceled the rest. I decided not to put up with having to wait. If a full book is published, I'll be one of the first to order it.

A hundred or so survivors of the zombie plague have found tenuous safety in the walled off center of a small Texas town. Now the hard work of survival begins - finding enough food; creating safe, weather-resistant shelter; establishing laws; and fighting off both the undead who want to eat them and the living bandits who want to rob and kill them.

Would you try another book from Rhiannon Frater and/or Cassandra Campbell?

Read book one and two of the series. Lost interest midway through book two, have no plans to read book three. Just lost interest in the characters.

If you’ve listened to books by Rhiannon Frater before, how does this one compare?

Listened to book one of the series, book two seems to go even further into the "Lifetime Channel" realm.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Cassandra Campbell?

    Maybe...

Could you see Fighting to Survive being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    Yes for the Lifetime channel.

    Any additional comments?

The story is decent, but the constant talk of feelings and inner struggle is difficult to listen through.

The different personalities involved, and what they contributed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Legion?

What about Oliver Wyman’s performance did you like?

    Easy to listen to

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The first book was awesome, the second, not so. The plot took a turn that made no sense, and the parents were supposed to be engineers, yet they had no concept of intellectual property.

Would you ever listen to anything by Richard Phillips again?

    Maybe

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Didn't have one

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Immune?

    The Vegas arc.

After centuries in stasis, a lost task force returns home. Arriving from the infinite void the surviving ships discover that the Imperium lies in ruin. The Homeworld itself is destroyed, and nothing lives in the Ancestral System except an infestation of unknown bipedal beings - creatures soft, red of blood and warm of flesh.... When you colonize a planet, make sure the owners aren't coming back.... MECH is the story of a new Earth colony built upon the ancient Homeworld of a civilization presumed (incorrectly) to be long dead.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This story was below the level I've come to expect from B.V. Larson.

What was most disappointing about B. V. Larson’s story?

The constant switching between the many different characters; I was not able to make a connection with any of them.

What does Mirron Willis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    nothing

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Mech 1: The Parent?

focus on a smaller number of characters.
