"Fasted Paced fun Read"
This was one of the first audio-books that I listed to. It was very fast paced not always believable but that is the beauty of fiction. Now one of my favourite authors.
"Horrible narration the film is better"
This was read in such a dreary way it was so hard to keep listening. The story is more of the hard times for these women than their brilliance. Clever coloured girls that were first given opportunities due to the war. This story could have been wonderful but it needed a big edit. The film on the other hand is brilliant so for once, skip the book.
"Hot performance"
Solid story but the highlight was the two narrators they brought the book to life. Please give us more like this!
"Liked the story but"
Not quite the epic story of the Bronze Horseman but still a good crime story. I didn't like the male voices used by the narrator they were just annoying. Would love to have more Audio books by this author
"Kinky sex with a great story"
Loved this series. Quite erotic at times so not for the prude but a real love story.
You will like this if you loved the JD Robb in death books.
"Not very erotic"
Very dull story. A wast of money. Not at all erotic a dull quick bang.
"Happy with the editors cuts"
I have loved this series but the previous books are desprately in need of a good editor. I am a little sick of the over use of terms like "His long straight nose" It must have been said by claire about 50 times in the other books.
This story jumps around quite a but but so does the full unabridged Gabaldon books I actually wished there was an abridged version of the next book. I am not sure if I have the time for another 40+ hour marathon.
I enjoyed this narrator but perferred the Davina Porter who does the unabridged stories.
As always she ends making you want to find out what happens next.
"Search for a new narrator"
Whilst I loved the story. The narrater was so dull.Preferred the narrater on Nora Roberts book Chasing Fire she was a joy to listen to.
"I gave up!"
You may as well listen to Lord of the Rings with the names changed. I did not like the voice of the narrator I found his accent painful to listen to. There are so may other better books.
"Depressing Americana Preaching."
Depressing listen. It may have been enjoyed by your American listeners but not me as an Aussie! A free book is always nice but I would have preferred a choice of a few selected books. Something a little less Sunday School preaching would have been enjoyed more.
"For the love all all things chocolate!"
I really enjoyed this story. Beautifully written and perfectly narrated.
As a bit of a choc-o-holic there is so much more to one of our favourit foods. It was also a wonderful insite into such remarkable visionaries that were the Quakers who worked so hard and risked so much to make the world a better place. Highly recommended story.
