    My title says it all. I really enjoy most of Steven King's books, but not this one. I thought I was listening to a pretty unbiased review up until about the last 10 minutes. I really disagree with the views and how they were presented at the end of this book. I have listened to every book I've purchased except this one, at 4 or 5 min left I just stopped listening.

    I was riveted and finished this book in record time. It was really detailed and described what life would be like for a small town given those circumstances. Very sad at times also. If you enjoy the apocalyptic type of stories this is a really great one. I enjoyed the characters and especially the development of the main character John through out the book. I hope there could be a follow-up novel at some point!

    There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

    I thought this book was really great. I was a little skeptical after reading a few negative reviews, but I have to say this is by far one of my best purchases w/ Audible so far!
