    I really like Betty White. Her honesty and integrity are refreshing in a world where those things can be hard to find. She and I are also kindred spirits where animals are concerned. Those stories were the best part of this book for me, as I could totally relate to them. But there weren't many of those, and I found the book to be overall lacking in depth. I enjoyed listening to Betty read it, but I was a little disappointed. Still like & admire the author, though!

    I just don't see what all of the hype was about. It's a pretty twisted story - a group of teens is forced to compete with each other to the death for the amusement of spectators. But I didn't even find it very interesting or well written. Maybe teenagers would enjoy it, but I wouldn't recommend this book to other adults.

    What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    They don't just read the book, they ARE the book. Very well acted.

    I absolutely loved this audiobook. It was performed so well by the readers that I felt as though I were listening to a play. A funny, touching, important story that sucks you in from the first words. Very well done.
