where is the strong and courageous katniss?? I don't even recognize peeta and don't really like gale...and if the truth be told, katniss herself really got on my nerves..I can't understand why or how gale and peeta loved her so much..this book was so different, unexpectedly so, from the other two...

Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac's every thought - and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.

"not as good as I had hoped"
    Overall

I do think the HUGE change in Mac was a little over the top....also...although I'm sure Ms. Ross is a fine narrator in other books this one wasn't for her. no accent for Mac and as another reviewer pointed out she said Rowena different everyother time Row e na Row in a... and Phil Gigante is not right for barrons..he is the voice for all the highlander books and it totally threw me. i loved this series and if both of them are back for the next book I can't say I'll listen

  • Spell Games: A Marla Mason Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (9 hrs and 10 mins)

Mad sorcerers, psychic vampires, an army of vengeful demons, Marla Mason would rather face them all than a flesh-and-blood ghost from her dysfunctional family past: her con artist brother, Jason. As Felport's chief sorcerer, Marla would ordinarily consider it her duty to protect her town from such an unscrupulous ne'er-do-well. As his sister, things are a lot...trickier.

Christine Ehren says: "Quite a ride"
    "best one yet!"
    Overall

although I had enjoyed all 4 books in the series this one is the best yet. Marla seems a little softer in places and yet just as strong in others. the addition of her brother jason was interesting as was the the B story line. I can't wait for the next book. I really like the narrator as well.
