Collide in all fairness was a good book, However, the story of Emily Cooper and Gavin Blake could have been completed with two additional chapters at the end of Collide. I was really waiting for the new twist and turns in Pulse but it never came. With that said I was happy The baby was Gavin's, because Dillon did not want to be a father in the first place, but Pulse was really not necessary.
I am so caught up in this series. great narration great writing. Credit worthy series.
Awesome Narration, great writing equals a great listen. Already looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was rocking along with this series until this book. Kidnappings, shootouts, car explosions you name it, but none as bad as what Sadie face in this book. I cry for dear Sadie. Not everyone can bounce back from being through such emotional trauma as being raped to actually be in a normal relationship with someone (Even though I would not call any of these relationship normal!!). Then again only a true Rock Chick could pull that off. These girls are in a relationships with men with bad ass jobs so they got to be hard as nail to deal yeah. Credit worthy listen folks. I am in love with this series. Kristen Ashley and Susannah Jones together makes this series a blast.
P.S. would totally watch the TV Series Rock Chicks :P
I went back and listen the last 28 mins of this book. I was pretty sure I miss the big secret smh. Well good writing, keeps you listening to the very last second.
Jay Crownover has done it again. She knows how to do tattoo guys and she knows how to make her readers fall for a bad guy. Already can't wait for Race's Story.
The irony about this book, I was so waiting for the predictable ending about a last minute call to save Sam Cayhall life even ten minutes to Sam's death, but was hit with the cold reality like everyone else in the story that Sam Cayhall was gonna died. This book is touching, emotional, and too realistic but maybe Sam really did deserve to died in the end BUT isn't the state a murderer now? After all, in the face of God, no sin is greater, but who are we to determine such. I was disappointed that the man in the shadows was not revealed to the world but I understand that Mr. Grisham wanted this to be more than an audio-book, he wanted real....
Can anyone say cheated, extremely!!! Everything about this book is rushed, poorly developed storyline.
I feel like am in the story as an onlooker, the sounds effects and all the different voices are great. All Audiobooks should come alive this way.
Torn is just as good as the first book, she cleared up all the mysteries and leave just enough hanging to set the foundation for her third book, excellent writing, i felt the emotions in this book. I also liked how she never protrayed Ben as a bad guy, I felt so sorry for Ben and I completely love his journals. I hope she got Bell and Ben hooking up by the end of this series, I felt like those two have a deep connection, apart from sharing a child. River and Dal, what a Love connection those two have! All in all I highly recommend you listen to this book.
