    The story was so slow to develop that I was tempted to “book-mark” and move on to another; however since Alafair has never failed to deliver I persisted and was richly rewarded. Give it a try I highly recommend it.

    three stars only!...Great for the price. The storyline is very overwhelming and I had a very difficult time with John Meagher totally butchering the Italian language and failing to give an italian accent to the Italians....Rachel sounds like an American...even her name is mispronounced - che = "k". Perhaps Grover Gardner, David Colacci or even Paul Michael would have been better.
