"If only the Medical Community was so Educated"
Yes, I will listen to it again. There is a lot of information to absorb so I am sure that I missed much during the first listen.
I have not read anything regarding bioidentical hormones before this book. There is a lengthy portion regarding her Somercize Diet recommendations. What Makes Us Fat - this is a similar read. The author of What Makes Us Fat is about Protein and Fat in the diet and the harmful affects of Carbohydrates in the diet. Suzanne Somers does not recommend cutting out Carbohydrates completely - she advocates adding good Carbohydrates back into the diet after excess weight has been lost.
Suzanne Somers does a good job narrating her book. One can definitely hear her passion for this subject. Sometimes she speaks so rapidly that I had to back up a listen to a passage again.

A pdf file would be helpful to accompany this book. There is so much information shared regarding bioidentical hormones and diet, I will have to take notes during my next listen or by a hardcopy book.
"I hope the movie is will live up to the BOOK"
I saw the trailer for the movie coming out so I was interested in listening to this book. It is very different than my usual listening choices and it turned out to be a real listening pleasure. I was entranced by Pi - his common sense, resourcefulness and faith. I loved the writing style of this writer - it was very descriptive. It made for excellent listening and envisioning the life and trials of Pi.
"A character you will always remember"
I liked Cora so much - her optimism, determination, wisdom and care for others.
I would have to give parts of the story away by mentioning the memorable moments.
I thought that the narration was very good however at times Cora sounded a bit to "Fargo"/country bumpkin.
I didn't want to listen to it all in one sitting - but I enjoyed getting back to it each day.
"I wanted to love this book - but could not."
No. I wanted to love this book. I always enjoyed the interviews I had seen and heard. I enjoyed his quick wit, breadth of knowledge and his sarcasm during those interviews. While listening to this book - I was just ready for it to be over. He told his life story by describing major relationships in his life - many of them were not so interesting.

Smug, Self-aggrandizing, Cold
I would have liked to know more about his relationships with his wife and children.
It was impressive to hear about all his travels and the opportunities that he had as a student and young adult - his role as a young and active socialist played a major part in that, but I was impressed by his industriousness and drive.
"Leisurely Listen for Summer"
Sure, I would probably try another.
Rushed - but I was pleased with the ending.
Nothing
Kate - Sandra Bullock
Tinker - Brad Pitt
Eve - Charlize Theron
I realize this book represented a different class, is set in New York City and is fiction - but I would question so many women being unchaperoned and having sex during that era.
"I am glad I didn't use a credit for this listen"
No, I would not recommend this book. It really lacked any story other than two young adults secretly lust for each other. Can he betray his best friend by desiring the best friend's widow? Can she really be thinking these thoughts about her Best Friend - worse yet, her dead husband's Best Friend?

"It was a very nice Christmas story."
I may listen to it again at Christmas. It was a nice story that I listened to while decorating.
Nothing.
"Feel Good Listen"
It started out quite surprisingly. It quickly turned into a nice listen while I ran my errands.
"Fine"
The book was not terrible but it was not great. I was taken in by all the hype. I do enjoy Glenn's radio show, the tv program and I have read a couple of the Glenn's non-fiction books. This book, while current and believable, was just a so-so listen.
"I enjoyed the review"
I have taken one of the workshops. This was a great review and I enjoyed the listen.
