In one instance and a single act of terrorism...it's all over. You can't see it nor can you smell it. You aren't even aware that you have taken it in. In a crowded New York subway a deadly airborne virus has been released. There is no cure. No stopping it. Within twenty-four hours, it will be too late. The struggle to survive is witnessed through the eyes of a small group of people as they battle an unseen and invincible foe. You will watch as they do, their world and everyone they love, crumble in the devastation of the virus.

What made the experience of listening to The Silent Victor the most enjoyable?

The first half was fun, and what I expect from a good virus-kills-the-world story.

Would you recommend The Silent Victor to your friends? Why or why not?

not the audiobook. the narrator was horrible.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Andrew Wehrlen?

    anybody.

In that first volume, we were introduced to the remarkable world of Roshar, a world both alien and magical, where gigantic hurricane-like storms scour the surface every few days and life has adapted accordingly. Roshar is shared by humans and the enigmatic, humanoid Parshendi, with whom they are at war.

Lore says: "48 more hours of Sanderson goodness!"
"How a huge series should be done."

If you could sum up Words of Radiance in three words, what would they be?

    Worth 1088 pages

What other book might you compare Words of Radiance to and why?

The encyclopedia Britannica. It is huge in size, filled with everything you want; and, though I felt I knew how it would end, I was only partially right, and the journey took me to places I would never have thought of without it

Which character – as performed by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading – was your favorite?

    Lopen.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There is a scene (I'll not describe it here to save from spoilers) Where as I was reading it, the foreshadowing and possibilities and pacing and the political, physical, and emotional danger was high enough, that I could not get my adrenaline to stop. I was literally rushing around and breathing heavily just because of the scene. I even realized this halfway through, and tried to disconnect from the story, but couldn't.
