A tale of archetypal heroes and sweeping adventures, of dragons and princes and evil wizards, here is epic fantasy as only Stephen King could envision it.

This is my first SK fantasy novel but it won't be my last. I fell into this story quickly and was grateful that I had a long drive and would not be interrupted. Too bad I finished it before the trip was over because I wanted more. The narrator was excellent. I just loved his Flagg!

  • Horsemanship Through Life: A Trainer's Guide to Better Living and Better Riding

Here is a compelling meditation from renowned horseman Mark Rashid on all the ways that the principles we apply in our dealings with fellow humans can apply to our relationships with our horses, and vice versa. Horsemanship Through Life is about awareness, learning, teaching, honesty, integrity, and much more. It is about more than tips or technique; it is about principles to live by. It is about taking ownership of and responsibility for our lives and relationships with horses and humans. It doesn t take long to listen to, but will be with you for life.

Would you listen to Horsemanship Through Life again? Why?

Yes I have listened to it 2x and will probably listen a 3rd.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It was really the story about "buying the ticket to ride". Anyone that has lost a person or animal that they have shared extraordinary adventures and experiences together, searches for some solace. Some solace came with the idea that the gut wrenching grief is the price of the ticket to ride on that journey together.
